A Pelham Puppet Redressed as
The White Witch
from the Chronicles of Narnia
This vintage Pelham Puppet has been redressed as the infamous Jadis of Charn,
the White Witch, from C.S Lewis's The lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
She is dressed in a blue duchesse satin gown - lined in white satin - overlaid with a wintery themed lace. Over her shoulders she wears a faux-fur drape.
Her face and arms have been fully repainted to suit the character and her hair is styled out of blonde dreadlocks, amongst which sits a crown crafted from acrylic icicles.
It must be noted that my more extravagant portrait puppets may have a reduction in the puppets usual agility and movement due to the costumes' structure and bulk. All puppets are hand made, using traditional costuming techniques but in miniature. Each puppet generally takes several days to make and are highly detailed, they are strung with the correct Pelham colour scheme with the original controller. Most puppets are a lot more flamboyant than they originally were and so no longer fit in the original box so will be supplied re-packaged.
